On January 19, 2012 , an author By Shari Roan, Los Angeles Times / For the Booster Shots blog posted a article about teens pregnancy. Teen pregnancy rates in the United States have fallen in recent years, but the country still has a higher rate than any other developed country. The global incidence of girls under 18 giving birth has declined steadily for decades, but with 7.3 million children born to teenage mothers each year. " In the State of World Population 2013 , the world body observes that 95% of the teens giving birth each year live in the developing world, where access to birth control and protections against early marriage and sexual violence are weakest. " I agree with the author because teens should be having protected sex instead of unprotected sex. I think the author is an expert because everything that she is saying is 100% true!
